Kardash Auto repair

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Kardash Auto Repair today. I came in because my car was making a grinding and knocking noise after having a new tire installed at another shop. They got me in the same day, put the car on the lift, took it for a quick test drive, and immediately found the problem. It turned out the lug nuts from the previous tire installation weren’t tightened properly. They removed the wheel, reinstalled it correctly, torqued everything down the way it should have been, and had me back on the road in no time. What impressed me the most was their honesty and professionalism. They could have easily tried to sell me parts or unnecessary repairs, but instead they fixed the actual problem and didn’t charge me anything. The car drives perfectly now, and they definitely earned my trust. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and professional mechanic, I highly recommend Kardash Auto Repair. I’ll absolutely be coming back if I ever need work done in the future. Thank you again!

What a hidden secret in this city of South Portland. Nick was very professional and wonderful to deal with and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that was wrong with the car in presented options in directions. Super helpful and fair. Highly recommend

I must have done something right to get pointed in Nick’s direction. On more than one occasion Nick has repaired my car for significantly less than what I was quoted at other shops to pass inspection. When stopping by to ask a question about car problems, without hesitation Nick will stop what he’s doing to check it out and either fix it in a minute or get you in that week. He’s honest, friendly, and always ready to help.

This place is great overall, totally transparent and no BS, sometimes you can drop off your car and get it back several hours later, and the art everywhere is awesome, theres even a real jackelope :-D. Most mechanics you find will seem ok at first or for a few visits, then sooner or later they take you to the cleaners with unneeded parts , repairs, etc. Not here, you get the same treatment with every visit,...and there is no double or triple markup on parts that other places will try to tell you is standard. I live locally and have been to every mechanic in the area, and there are MANY. Dont waste your time on ANY of them...Ive suffered through the rest to bring you this message... go straight to Kardash Auto Repair.
